Product Description

Our API 5L LSAW Welded Pipe mainly includes submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipe and high-frequency resistance welded straight seam steel pipe. Generally, API straight seam steel pipe is exported steel pipe. After completion, the pipe body will be painted, beveled, capped and bundled. Its surface is allowed to have minor defects such as scratch, scratch, weld dislocation, burn and scar that do not exceed the negative deviation of wall thickness. The wall thickness thickening at the weld and the existence of internal seam welding reinforcement are allowed.

API 5L LSAW Welded Pipe has the advantages of simple production process, high production efficiency, low cost and rapid development. Straight seam welding is mostly used for small diameter welded pipes, while spiral welding is mostly used for large diameter welded pipes. Compared with the straight seam pipe with the same length, the weld length increases a lot and the production speed is low.

Packing

There are probably hundreds of different methods for packing a pipe, and most of them have merit, but there are two principles that are vital for any method to work prevent rusting and Sea transportation security.
 
1)Plastic caps plugged at the two sides of pipe ends
2)Should be avoided by the steel strapping and transport damage
3)Bundled signs should be uniform and consistent
4)The same bundle(batch) of steel pipe should be came from the same furnace.
5)The steel pipe has the same furnace number, the same steel grade, the same specifications.
