Product Description

Our API 5L SSAW Welded Pipe is widely used in tap water engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, electric power industry, agricultural irrigation and urban construction. The utility model can produce welded pipes with larger pipe diameters with narrower billets, and can also produce welded pipes with different pipe diameters with billets of the same width. The production cost is low, the process is simple, and it is easy to produce large-diameter tubes. Spiral seam submerged arc welding process is mostly used for large-diameter welded pipes.

Our API 5L SSAW Welded Pipe is made of strip steel coil, which is often warm extruded and welded by automatic double wire double-sided submerged arc welding process. It has to go through strict physical and chemical tests before it is put into operation. It adopts the weld gap control device to ensure that the weld gap meets the welding requirements, and the pipe diameter, misalignment and weld gap are strictly controlled.

Packing

There are probably hundreds of different methods for packing a pipe, and most of them have merit, but there are two principles that are vital for any method to work prevent rusting and Sea transportation security.
 
1)Plastic caps plugged at the two sides of pipe ends
2)Should be avoided by the steel strapping and transport damage
3)Bundled signs should be uniform and consistent
4)The same bundle(batch) of steel pipe should be came from the same furnace.
5)The steel pipe has the same furnace number, the same steel grade, the same specifications.
